Have you noticed the new PokerPro texas hold’em poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about three weeks ago when I took a brief vacation with my parents to the WinStar Casino in Oklahoma.
As I anxiously waited for my turn to be called at the live tables, I watched how the other individuals at the PokerPro tables interacted with each other. It was quite intriguing to say the least. Since the poker table was controlled by a computer, there were no poker chips to do any chip hints, no cards to shuffle and the real live encounter was boring. Maybe I was the only one that discovered this, but I did observe the players on the table had a dull quality to them. The cause of this may be since there was no human interaction with the dealer, the ambiance was relatively boring and the gamblers looked bored stiff. Right after playing a few hands, I definitely felt like I was betting at house. The lack of activity in the table was the main reason. I prefer to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those things are possible at these digital tables.
Another thing I noticed was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I wagered a lot of hands on the PokerPro table and noticed that the play was a great deal like a web based hold em poker site. That might have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to be extremely odd.
Following playing a few rounds with this "new texas hold’em poker technology", I determined that the PokerPro tables were not for me. I’m better off wagering texas hold em poker on the web at house and not travel the distance. If WinStar Betting house were to obtain rid of the stay poker tables, I think they would loose a good deal of gamblers.
