Web poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years many variations on the original poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is little bluffing or different types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the dealer declares "No more bets." At that point, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different players acquire five cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you must either make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original ante, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your ante goes instantaneously to the dealer. After the wager comes the face off. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, including a figure on par with the initial wager. If the house does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the dealer’s hand. The dealer pony’s up money even with your wager and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
