Caribbean Poker Rules and Pointers
May 4th, 2023 by Elliott

Web poker has become world famous recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its television scores. Over the years several types on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling 21 than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the croupier declares "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different players receive 5 cards. After you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s amount is equal to your original bet, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your bet goes directly to the dealer. After the bet comes the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, including a figure on par with the original wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The house pays out cash even with your bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
