Caribbean Poker Codes and Tricks
August 6th, 2025 by Elliott

Poker has become globally acclaimed recently, with televised championships and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier saying "No more bets." At that point, both you and the casino and of course every one of the other gamblers are given five cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you need to either make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s value is equal to your original wager, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your ante goes instantly to the dealer. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, with a sum equal to the original bet. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The house pays chips equal to your ante and controlled odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
