After all we are assumingly (nearly all of us) playing poker for one reason – to acquire money, it does make sense that we would play accordingly to maximize our profit potential. Now let us say you are up one hundred dollars off of a $100 deposit, and you take a gigantic hit in a NL game and your stack is down to $120. You’ve burned $80 in a round where you were assured to pick up $200two hundred dollars when you decided to go all-in on the flop and had a 10 – 1 advantage. And that fish! He sucked you out on the river? – Well stop right here. This is a quintessential opportunity for a brand-new bettor to start tilting.
